We shall block not only house dust mites (300 microns in length) but also their allergens (mite excrements – 1 micron only) from getting into our beddings. The difficulty lies in how to create a perfect barrier without giving up the most important factor in bedding – COMFORT. Durability is another factor a producer must consider. Allergen Barrier has been improved in the past decades as described below:           Generation I Common plastic film covers provided absolute barrier to allergens, but also absolute barrier to air and moisture, which made them unpractical.   Generation II Cotton or polyester covers with polyurethane coating still were not comfortable.   Generation III Breathable membrane covers with slightly improved air & moisture permeability but most covers were not washable, could't be dried and hoovered.   The Latest Generation Woven materials functioning as barriers against allergens made out of microfibres. They can be washed, dried and hoovered. In all AllerGuard® quilts inner and outer walls of material are thermo-welded without leaving any stitch-hole on the surface. Thanks to this technology, House Dust Mites have no chance to enter inside and colonize your quilt, and allergens would never come out from inside, either. Thermo fixation technology named Soft–Seal™ is strong and stabile even after many washings.     World-renowned Polish White Goose Down and Feather were chosen as the most suitable material to fill the AllerGuard® bedding. All natural isolational and air permeable characteristics of down are indispensable. Material with which the AllerGuard® quilts and pillows are filled is refined at our Feather and Down Processing Factory in Dobczyce near Krakow under the Japanese management and strict quality control system.   After intensive washing and rinsing, the filling material obtains 1000 mm transparency according to JIS K0102 1981 standard, followed by sterilization and drying (120 C and 4 bars) process. The NOCAR treatment gives the material additional hygiene and makes it washable. Each of those refining process assures that the filling material for AllerGuard® hypo-allergic and adjusted for washing in the washing machine, while maintaining the very best of the nature's gift.
