| The truth about “hypo-allergic“ bedding 
There are many products promoted as “hypo-allergic“, but that merely means no known allergen was present at the moment of production. From the moment you open the package, it starts to gather House Dust Mites and allergen, and requires frequent washing – say, every two weeks. That is not the case with AllerGuard® – a true Allergen Barrier – as it is simply impossible for House Dust Mites to colonize in it and even a particle as small as 0.1 micron cannot get in through it. As a matter of fact, washing the quilt is a big trouble for everyone. It is not easy while easily forgotten. If you have AllerGuard® bedding, you do not have to feel prick of conscience that you have not washed the quilt for the last 6 months. The AllerGuard® material was constructed not to become dirty so fast and so often. Although it is required to remove the dust on the surface of AllerGuard® from time to time, you do not have to spend 30 hours in total a year in order to keep off House Dust Mites and their allergens, nor feel guilty not doing so. As the saying goes, “a good conscience is a continual feast“.The AllerGuard® is unique and washing it is not going to shorten its barrier properties, so to say the effectivity of the product. The AllerGuard® is protecting our bed against house dust mites even for 10 years of use. The test result at Teijin Laboratory in Japan shows that even after 50 washings, AllerGuard® blocked 98,2 % of particles sized 0.1 micron. It's enough to wash the AllerGuard® quilt twice a year while AllerGuard® interliners could be washed once a few weeks. The washing temperature should be 60 C to kill house dust mites. |
